A pair of framed Japanese geisha pictures

A very large statement pair, these original mid-century prints are impressive pieces at just over 117cm x 55cm each.

These pictures are rare and though we cannot find their exact match, we believe they may be prints of Eishi Hosoda’s work (1756-1829).

The pair of prints are directly on board, and are covered in a protective layer almost like an oleograph. The original sloped/bevelled 1950s frames (with black velvet mounts) have been professionally reinforced and neatened up and are ready to hang.

Such a strong and beautiful look.

Please note: we also have a very large complimentary painting offered separately as seen in the final image.
