A pair of wooden hand-carved male and female cherub figures

A superb piece of hand carving, heavily flawed as you can see but utterly beautiful.

This pair are so tactile. They are artefact-like in their wonderfully naive style.

These pieces are about 50-70 years old but are in an older, artisan style having been hand produced. They had been abandoned in a Southeast Asian workshop following a volcanic eruption before being uncovered and brought back to the UK.

A pair of pieces that are sure to bring you pleasure and grace any collection.
