A Victorian taxidermy miniature papier-mâché leopard lion figure

A superb Victorian model that epitomises their love of the exotic.

This strange creature is part leopard and part lion (mane) and is truly wonderful. Such creatures were actually bred in Japan.

Made from real animal fur, NOT from a leopard or lion, more likely dyed cow hide.

A beautiful addition to any curious collection!
