A 19th Century Oddfellows 'Honour and Secrecy' sign

A rare, complete one of a kind, this 19th century English hand painted pine Oddfellows sign is simply stunning.

At a little over 2m in length, it displays beautifully. The sign is inscribed 'honour' and 'secrecy', below a curtain fringe with rope tassels, on a painted curtain background centred with a hand and heart (representing charity given with an open heart). The rich red and gold really give this sign it’s deliciously dark sumptuousness. We are completely in love with it! A very special piece.

There won’t be another...
