An antique anatomical skeleton model on a metal stand

A huge (just under 2m!) and exceptionally well made, mid-century anatomical teaching skeleton model which came from Bologna university.

The quality of this Italian piece really is excellent and it’s size is impressive. It is extremely heavy being made from a very dense early plastic and stands on a black metal frame- all original.

This skeleton really takes close inspection to ascertain if it’s real or not, such is the intricate detail and texturing (additionally the shoulder blades are wing mounted and everything is articulated, again showing the craftsmanship of this model).

We believe you won’t find better- we absolutely love this rare piece!
