A Victorian telescopic brass floor lamp

An exceptionally good quality telescopic brass floor lamp.

This Victorian example is very, very heavy! It has a beautiful reeded column with Corinthian capital. The four paw feet are wonderfully detailed to support that sublime, stepped base.

We’ve never seen an example that has such a large range: minimum height 152cm and maximum height a whopping 216cm excluding any shade (no shade is included). From that height it can illuminate an entire room.

A truly exceptional quality piece for any interior. So stylish.

Dimensions:

All approximate

Minimum height to bulb holder, no bulb 152cm

Maximum height to bulb holder, no bulb 216cm

Base 36cm x 36cm max inc. feet

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. As seen in the images, but not limited to: there is dulling and pitting to the base as seen. The base has a very slight downwards bow where it’s weight has rested between the feet. This lamp has untested wiring (it was previously PAT tested and passed but this has elapsed) so is sold as spares or repairs and not working; please note that it is sold as requiring testing by a suitably qualified person before use.
