*Biography

Piotr Strelnik (born in Lublin 1956) is a Polish painter, living in France. He studied graphics at the Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw. Since 1983 he has lived in Paris. He progressed from figurative painting, gradually simplifying until he attained abstraction. He's an independent artist, not identyfing with any movement or group, but keeping in touch with both French and Polish emigrant artistic circles in Paris.
