A large Chinese ginger jar - golden pheasant and foo dog motif

A stunning Chinese lidded ginger jar, of very good proportions (bust is life size).

The Orange/red and white pattern is just lovely, depicting a wonderful golden pheasant and it displays excellently. The Foo dog to the lid is a gorgeous addition!

This jar has little age but exactly the right look and is good, heavy quality. Hand painted detailing.

A superbly decorative piece, and hard to find at this large size.
