A pair of large white stone greyhound garden statues

This regal, elegant pair of greyhounds have incredible form, detail and proportion. The scale is substantial: each one is 1.25m in length.

Each dog lays in a ready position, perfect to flank an entrance way or to sit on your lawn or gravel driveway.

They were salvaged from an East London entrance way from what was a hospital/care home, and prior to that, a substantial Victorian property.

They are a mix of reconstituted stone, clays, and cement. They have been painted white some time ago.

These are one off, not to be missed, important pieces that will take pride of place in the years to come in any setting.

These will require two very strong people to move as they are very large and exceptionally heavy.

Condition: Where there are specific points to note we will detail these as far as possible but please be aware that all our items have wear commensurate with age and are as seen in the photographs. If you require any specific information please do not hesitate to get in contact. Please note that these dogs will require some work as you’d expect from salvaged pieces, and are priced to reflect this. They sit on raised spikes so can be sunk into a lawn or gravel, or mounted on plinths. There are breaks to the tails and some paws, but all the pieces are present so once they are in situ these can be cemented in place (final images show this). Truly spectacular, original pieces.
