An Anglo-Indian circular carved table with brass inlay

This beautiful occasional table is intricately carved with charming brass inlay to the circular top.

A good, large size.

Standing on a large octagonal base profusely carved with leaves, the two parts do separate.

This beautiful table was likely made in the Punjab or Kashmir region of India and is a good vintage example.

These types of tables are similar in style to those imported and retailed by Liberty & Co in the late 19th Century as illustrated in their 1890s catalogues. This example is a fraction of the cost with all the charm.

One of several Oriental/Anglo-Indian/Moorish tables on offer in this style.
