A 19th Century large wooden dough bin on stand

The most beautiful and very large dough bin, which we believe is made from elm.

19th century or earlier. Worn smooth with decades and decades of use, the patina is magical.

Having a flat top and the added bonus of substantial internal storage, this piece is incredibly useful and would make a superb console table where good looks are important.

The bin portion can be removed from the stand for transportation and/or use, as required.

A piece we completely fell in love with.

It’s got plenty of old, inactive woodworm markings (retreated for good measure!), rough repairs to the legs, marks, scratches etc. Stands firm and true.
