A rare vintage Mickey Mouse papier-mâché carnival head

A superb piece for any Mickey Mouse collector’s or those who collect vintage fairground and carnival pieces.

This head was discovered in one of the storage containers at Margate’s Dreamland theme park around 20 years ago. It would have likely been used in parades and carnivals, or worn around the park. There is newspaper inside dating from the 1960s to the 1990s where it’s been reinforced or repaired. Fits over a human head. Large size.

Full of character, a complete one off, with a great patina.
