A French Pilmans full form mannequin

Meet the wonderful Herbert!

He is French and dates somewhere from around the turn of the last century to the 1920s. He is not marked but is a most certainly Pilmans of Paris.

He is made of wood and gesso (legs), has wooden arms, and his body is card with a linen covering. He is quite heavy.

Herbert’s head can be removed and is freestanding if you prefer to make two decorative pieces- these mannequins rarely have heads and look great with or without.

He’s a flexible chap and is able to pivot fully from his waist. His arms move and he is generally a happy chap.

Herbert can be removed from his metal plate base.

Such an amazing and rare, authentic, decorative piece.
